You\u2019re negotiating for the way your NIL will be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They stop at the headline number, but real value is built in the details.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3rd party NIL deal (brand deals) are full of negotiable terms that directly impact your worth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Usage rights \u2014 where can the brand use your content? For how long? On what platforms?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional deliverables \u2014 are you being paid for the extra edits, reshoots, or behind\u2011the\u2011scenes content they\u2019ll inevitably ask for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Duration of use \u2014 a 30\u2011day campaign and a 12\u2011month campaign are not the same value. You want to add an additional month, you gotta pay for it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exclusivity \u2014 if you can\u2019t work with competitors, that restriction has a price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whitelisting \u2014 If a brand wants to run paid ads through your account, that\u2019s extended reach using your identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment terms \u2014 Net\u201130 is not the same as Net\u201190. Net-90 is going to cost the brand more money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kill fees \u2014 if a brand cancels after you\u2019ve already done the work, you should still be compensated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NIL isn\u2019t just about posting content and getting paid. It\u2019s about understanding the business behind the content.
