Calling all professional service providers!!
Student‑athletes need you, your expertise, your knowledge, your experience, and your perspective. They’re navigating contracts, taxes, brand opportunities, and financial decisions that many adults struggle with, and they shouldn’t have to do it alone.
The reality is simple: many universities don’t have the resources to give their athletes the full NIL support they deserve, whether that’s education, contract review, tax guidance, financial planning, or basic business literacy. But that gap shouldn’t have to fall solely on the athlete.
I’ve always believed that certain NIL information should be available for public consumption. No gatekeeping. No unnecessary barriers. When athletes understand the rules, the risks, and the opportunities, they make better decisions and they protect themselves. And that’s the goal right?
If you’re a lawyer, CPA, financial planner, marketer, compliance professional, or advisor of any kind, consider finding a small way to contribute: Volunteer to speak to a team or class, provide general education in your area of expertise, share a resource or checklist, etc.
Even small efforts can make a meaningful difference. If we want a healthier NIL environment, it starts with making knowledge more accessible and support more consistent.
