Too many athletes think the biggest threat to their NIL is a bad actor. It’s not. The biggest threat is bad advice.

Advice from a teammate who “heard something. Advice from a group chat. Advice from someone who’s never read a contract, never filed a tax return, never dealt with compliance, and never had to protect eligibility. Advice from someone who quite frankly doesn’t know.

In NIL, misinformation spreads faster than Usain Bolt.

Here’s the truth:

You don’t need fear. You need clarity.
You don’t need hype. You need structure.
You don’t need a “plug.” You need someone who understands the rules and how to play the game.

The wrong advice can cost you eligibility, money, tax penalties, or long‑term opportunities.
The right advice protects you before you even realize you needed protection.

Athletes deserve education, transparency, and advisors who know what they’re doing.
